So I want to talk about some shit going on in the vaping world that maybe consumers like myself might have missed.... on the 18th planned to release my overall review of the Sigelei 213. As stated in my caption under my unveiling video, I like to write my review after I have used and feel very comfortable using a mod. Now that being said, I got use to this mod faster than the one I reviewed prior to it, but the one thing I wasn't too sure of was using the mode that changes the temperature PPR correctly.... so like any normal vaper I Googled it and because I am a better visual learner with mods I selected the video tab to see who I could watch that I already subscribe to on YouTube and to my pleasure the first video that is displayed is from one of my favorite reviewers, Daniel or Djslvape, his YouTube channel name. I quickly learn that not only did I just wipe my ass with a hundred dollar bill, but that I COULD HAVE wiped my ass with less money and gotten a higher watt product... what the what?!?! So I continue on to SuckMyMod's 6/14/16 blog and learn that Daniel/Djsblbvapes was accosted (along with other social media users) for his honest, scientific review of the Sigelei 213 (both the carbon fiber higher priced mod and the Fuchai twin) and I was just floored by this. So then with my intrest peaked and I started trying to see what was said by Sigelei employee...long story short I ended up releasing the unveiling video and leaving the review out because I really wanted to see what was going to happen with this. I wanted to do unveiling and immediately add the review to the clip and use it as 1 video instead of 2 (which would make me behind most reviewers, but my subscribers and viewers would probably be happier that it was all together)... so I knew at the point I posted the unveiling that Sigelei had come out and said that they have no youtube channels and it was not one of their accounts, yet there were plenty of other accounts that appeared to belong to Sigelei so they ended up writing Daniel a letter and I put a link to Djsblbvapes blog where he has the screenshots showing what ultimately feel Sigelei should just own and apologize for, and maybe Song (what a name!) should be fired... I also think that because the 213 only tested to 155 (I dont remember the exact number the cheaper Fuchai tested at but it definately tested HIGHER than the more expensive model) that as a customer we should be able to return the product as it was purchased with the promise of certain things and neither work the way they claim...its like false advertisement. If you false advertise a meal at McDonalds to have 2 cheeseburgers and when customers go to McDonalds and buy the meal it has one and a half burgers, NONE OF US WOULD BUY THAT MEAL! Not to mention if we complained to the company and had their sales person yell at anyone who was mad, and then ALSO didn't give you back your money...how often would you eat there...YOU WOULDN'T. You wouldn't have their cheeseburgers, you wouldn't have their chicken...shit you wouldn't even get a soda there! For me personally this was my first and LAST Sigelei mod. Since I have never owned one, I hadn't ever watched any reviews of the companies actual products... but I have now....and as an educated woman, vaper and consumer I can see that this is way more common than I would have ever known. Some people would say our opinions don't matter but that is not true... I watched the KBOX 200's technical review and it was only hitting around 160, and now we obviously have the DripBox 160, so obviously some companies are showing that not only do they care about the people who buy their products but that they take pride in their company and products enough that they want to advertise 2 burgers and sell 2 damn burgers! Also I want to know why these companies aren't doing these tests themselves...on every single unit sold...its called quality control where I come from. I also would like to know why more of us don't say something so that other vapers know it is not something that they want to buy. Obviously not all of reviewers have the technology or technical talent to do these tests, but WHAT IF REVIEWERS didn't put a review out the day the pull the mod out of the box. Maybe then when vapers Google the mod they've been eyeballing at their local ejuice store they would find out that it wasn't awesome, that it doesn't do what it claims to do and to eyeball something else... because unlike these huge reviewers the rest of the vape world isn't getting a mod the day the company sends out a sample... we purchase them out of chronigical order ya know... I know I am gonna get a lot of hate from reviewers now, but come on, don't we all have a duty to each other as members of the vaping community to spend some time with a mod before reviewing it. Its like everyone (myself included) that reviews has to be the 1st person to review a product when in a normal vapers world chronigical doesn't matter at all, what matters is if its good...and I think too many people say its good before having the right to judge that. Its a chain reaction in a way because if reviews were more than "hey this just came in the mail and i just used it for a couple hours (maybe even less in some cases) and its awesome" maybe companies that produce more bad mods that just over charge would not be what vapers consider the cream of the crop anymore. After this I know for myself I wont ever watch just any old review or read any old video... I will be making sure I make more educated purchases. Prior to this I always thought certain products were super great but I definitely re evaluated how I am going to look at vaping companies and products from now on. I hope that people who vape will take the time to click the link I put to Daniels blog and take a little to read it all and then watch his video... we have to make this unacceptable to vape sellers internationally. I also hope Sigelei learns from this and in the future listens more to consumers, because I know it took way too long for the battery door thing to get changed. Also thank you Daniel and SuckMyMod for being a couple good example of vapers helping vapers. Afterall we all love the same thing, so we cant do a disservice to each other by reviewing upon opening or for consumers, purchasing without researching. I wish I personally had waited, no one knows what bugs anything will have till its been around the block. That's my opinion. Happy vaping bitches! ????
Daniel/Djsblbvapes blog post that has video link & screenshots of how vapers were treated. Link posted below. *McDonalds is only a example of a company who does not false advertise. No statements made ever took place at any of McDonalds locations and was made up for sake of comparison.
One plus is that it is a very gorgeous mod, even though the temperature doesn't read correctly?

The RX200 may be one of the best devices we have seen in a long time. At 200 watts it's a heavy hitter, with the ability to fire builds as low as .02! It's a heavier mod due to being powered by three 18650 batteries, but the weight is what adds to the durable feeling it has in your hand. Wismec also came up with interchangeable plates that can be swapped to create a more personal look for your mod. This is what the plates come in and by simply looking up a YouTube video I was able to easily change out the white plates to pink. This is a durable device that can take a few drops and not go to mod heaven. It also has upgradable firmware that allows you to change the font on the screen as well as add any new features that Wismec and JayBo decide to release. This is currently my daily mod because of its ability to stay charged all day without losing any power on my vapes. This one gets 5 stars from me! ❤️❤️❤️
Granted, I have had all kinds of mods and played with and have used plenty of mods but to actually own something this big was not something I saw ever happening. I like smaller devices that are more fitting for a hand. This big boy is tall, not super wide but the height seems a lot higher than my other mods. Bigger isn't always better, so in looking at all the mods in the same "class" as the ipv5 it noticeably stood out. Yet out of that class, when I picked this up it was like I knew we were going to have a long happy life together. In black with the Limitless RDTA, it was meant to be ♡. The IPV5 is sturdy and feels very well made. It has a magnetic battery door so it stays put. It takes 2 high drain 18650 batteries and it holds a charge to vape ALL day! I consider myself to be kind of a chain vaper, so for me that is something that is super important. However for a girl who was use to the turn on and vape mods this one took me a little to figure out the menu and how the settings work, I hadn't had a mod with memory settings ever. This has 5 different memory settings so you can set the mod up to remember the settings you like for all your favorite RBA's or sub OHM tanks or the in between RDTA's. It seems as if it goes in to sleep mode if you don't remember to turn it off after that last night time vape session of the night, the batteries are always as full as they were when I fell asleep. I definitely can tell the YiHi chip in this also makes the lag between the time that you hit the fire button to the time you actually get the coil hot enough to take a huge pull next to nothing. It has almost zero ramp up time, no matter what I build and no matter what coil setup I am using. 5 clicks on, but 5 clicks off actually is "5 clicks on 5 clicks menu," lol. Next you use the up and down wattage buttons to scoll through and select your settings using the fire button. The bottons feel solid and have a solid click with no wiggle room. Overall initial appearance is pretty good.
Now to attempt to kind of explain the settings, which seemed kind of intimidating right away; the first atty I threw on this bad boy wouldn't fire. I thought I must have broken it lol...nope!...this does not come out of the box ready to use for those of us that build our own coils. I don't know if I had put a sub OHM tank on it if out of the box it would have fired up, because I didn't have that thought process at the time. I wanted the RDTA I had to be the main one I had on this. So after googling for videos that were terribly confusing I just started changing shit lol. The manual doesn't explain much in terms of RBA type setups. This thing comes out of the box with the "w" for watts as a "j" joules, the 5 clicks off opens a menu which changes the "j" in the power menu; now, if you are like me and want to set up to use a RBA, RTA, RDA or RDTA or something else that you prefer to use your own coil build on (seems like I find new coil shit weekly with how fast vaping is becoming popular)...you need to change these settings for the atty you're wanting to use. For my set up (the iJoy Limitless RDTA) I went 5 clicks into the menu and into "Power" to select "joules" then I kept it at "F" for Fahrenheit then went and set temp at 400 cause its not gonna matter once I change the coil setting but, if you are nichrome or a coil with Ni or Ti markings, you will need to set the temperature to what you want. Then, I went into "Coil Select" and I selected "Manual TCR" (this is where you change the atomizer setting so sub OHM Ni or Ti can be changed here, if you are using a sub tank but not those types of coils select SX pure) and then I select power AGAIN because I want to change it back to read "w" when I am back on tge front screen. I know you are thinking "god damn that's a lot of work to adjust my wattage", don't worry you can fine tune your wattage after your back to the beginning by holding the down button down till you see the display switch to "ADJ" so you can go up or down in wattage (or temp) and get it right where you like it. Once you have it tweaked to perfection hold the up button till you notice the display brightens. Then the mods memory is set for M1-M5 (depending on which one you started on) without needing to go into the menu every time. So unless you change your setup you're set to go forever. I like to use lots of different types of tanks and try new setups so I set each memory based on type of tank instead of just setting it up for the couple tanks a normal person would own or prefer to use....but with the ipv5 you will definitely love anything you throw at this. I know the settings part sounds complicated but really if you love your specific tank setup and that's all you use and you never go back and forth it is really easy to just swap out and adjust the watt/temp and go. If you are like me and you will put whatever attomizer anyone hands you on your tank, I would suggest my setup.... using the M1-M5 based on TYPE of tank vs. personalizing memory to each tank itself. So I change memory slots if I am going back to an Aspire sub tank instead of giving the exact tank a slot; then I adjust general wattage and vape! I really thought I was a happy vaper with the mods I already owned, nope! I feel like p4y definitely knocked it out of the park with this device. I cannot say enough GOOD things about the performance of the ipv5. The clouds are just unbelievable! Now, that all being said on to the situation of looks and wear and tear. I would normally order this in a stainless steel but the owner of one of our local vape shops once said black on black was the best and most beautiful of all the color setups...I know stainless steel is durable and sustains the good looks for longer, it is also super mundane and boring sometimes, and with all the great colors this comes in I could not pass on the color part this round. The look of the black is definitely sleek and gorgeous... The "James Bond gaget vaping" style was a turn on, but in holding it without a silicone sleve I managed to scratch it with my ring within 5 minutes of having it out of the box (thus the silicone sleve in my photos)....and since I wear diamonds a lot and on multiple fingers this was a major downfall for me. I know others have said that they dropped it and it stayed gorgeous...but apparently if diamonds are a girls best friend then the colorful choice is not...or vaping without silicone sleve is not for you. Think of it like your diamond gold rings are an STD your mod is your perfect body and the sleeve is your protection from horrors of calling every person you've come in contact with lol...its just BAD!!! So I since I didn't notice what was doing it I ended up with scratches on both sides 😢 on day 1!...definitely a downer on my vaping euphoria! I ended up throwing a vape sticker over them, but I still know they are there! Lol. So if you really care about the look of your mod wrap it up people! Other than those scratches this mod is so far my absolute favorite. I like it better than anything I have ever used. The magnetic battery door is genius. This one gets the prize for its overall class. Vape♡Babe Ratings Looks:⭐⭐⭐⭐ Price Range:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Durability:⭐⭐⭐ Performance:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ease Of Use:⭐⭐ Overall this Babe gives this mod: 👍👍 We see hundreds of "giveaways" all over Instagram and other social media sites offering free goods for a like and a follow and a repost, seems easy enough right? But how many of those "giveaways" actually ever give anything away? Surprisingly enough, not very many. So I am going to give you some tips to help you recognize legit giveaways from follower generating scam giveaways. First sign that a giveaway is a BUST is when you see tons of giveaway posts but you don't see any winners ever posted. Most companies that are actually giving stuff away are doing it for promotion purposes and want to show the winners and have the winners respond, thus creating free advertising when those winners show off their prizes. So if you see tons of giveaway posts and NO publicly announced winners it's a BUST. Second sign is a long time ago people didn't want to flood their feed with giveaway spam so they made special accounts special for giveaways, some even called the page "vape giveaway" or "vape giveaways" and so when users are looking for a giveaway suddenly they find these pages with 10 million followers (all who thought they could win something too) but in reality it is a page some user was hoping to get lucky on and win with out having to flood their real friends news feeds. So when looking at a giveaway, consider the source. Check the initiating page and see if they have done this before and have lists of the people who won. Don't follow pages called vapegiveaway, they never give away anything and get upset when that fact gets pointed out. Usually LEGIT companies and SMALL companies are the best at giveaways because they want to get their name out there. Also large companies often have very legit giveaways. So just be paying attention when entering a giveaway, we don't want to follow and support people who are false advertising and leading us actual vapers on. EXAMPLES:Examples of people who just created accounts to compete in giveaways not people actually giving anything away 💯 Every page offering lots of giveaways WILL have winner announcements! No one wants to Giveaway something without showing that they followed through. If you don't see winner announcements, it's not a giveaway but a scam to get followers. Here is a perfect example of a REAL GIVEAWAY, Smoant gives lots of prizes away...Follow them. Perfect example of a page that is a scam. This page has 5000! Followers all reposting their pics and gathering followers for them without the person having to do anything. Lots of promises with no pay out is a scam. I saw a page just like this one last week, there were pictures of vapes and had the same instructions this page does. Leave your email? So you can be spammed to death, not win something. Be aware of all motives the page owner may have. This is a scam for sure. On this one the company has a website where you register for your "freebie"....there are tons of comments saying it's a scam but not everyone reads those. Any company asking you for information prior to announcing you as a winner is probably a ploy to get your information. There are lots of people who can do a lot with your information; whether that's just spamming your email, selling your information to other third part companies or other scam type things. We have to be smart in this world. As good people we can't count on everyone to be as good as we are. Just think, "what is this company gaining", a real giveaway wants promotion and people to post their winnings and show off their product, they won't do it behind closed doors. FINAL THOUGHTDont forget that there are plenty of real companies giving away actual prizes, you just need to focus on the things I've outlined here. Happy Hunting!
***These are based on my observations and right to the 5th amendment users are ultimately able to make their own decisions. I am providing advice to help those who may be unaware. No user name shown in these photos are under any personal attack, just examples. If you've been featured as a scam giveaway and feel you were wrongly catagorized please email me personally with prof of winners. When I first got this I was so excited I couldn't wait, after destroying the packaging to get the mod out.... I was disappointed. The screen had come really scratched. Although the stainless steel and black was gorgeous and shiny...the screen was just busted up looking. (Later I took it back to my vape shop and he used a razor knife to peel a plastic film off the screen lol...blonde moment). I also immediately had the firmware upgraded to reach 200w. I am not a huge fan of "Smart Mode"....when you hit the fire button 3 times quickly you can use the front buttons to scroll through the best power settings, Smart Mode is supposed to take the guess work out of what wattage is perfect for whatever atomizer you are using. I find it to be really inaccurate and actually very annoying to use. I do however love that in the newer models they fixed the button clicking problem. I got mine replaced last month and the button no longer makes that annoying clicking thing. I would say for the price the Quboid is a GREAT mod. Just don't bother upgrading the firmware...who is gonna vape over 150w anyway? Lol. Vape♡Babe Ratings Looks:⭐⭐⭐⭐ Price Range:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Durability:⭐⭐⭐⭐ Charging Ease:⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ease Of Use:⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall this Babe gives this mod: 👍 Update As of October 2016The battery door becomes lose preventing the mod from registering that there are batteries unless you hold the battery door closed. Hopefully Joyetech has already been made aware of this flaw. No mod should live less than a year 😳
